Jamshedpur, Jan. 12: The district forest wing seems to have taken up the task to improve the conditions at the Dalma elephant sanctuary.
For, the wing has recommended to the state forest and environment ministry to invite wildlife experts to give suggestions to improve the issues, concerning elephant corridors, pollution and habitant.
Divisional forest officer (Dalma sanctuary) Dinesh Kumar said the territorial division has suggested to invite experts from the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun.
“The sanctuary houses large number of elephants. We need to improve their natural habitat to reduce a man-animal conflict,” Kumar said.
