Wild Elephant Kills Woman In Tamil Nadu

A 26-year-old woman was trampled to death by a wild elephant in Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve in the district, forest officials said.

Sivanna (30) of Koothanapuram village, his wife Rajammal and their two daughters, were walking through the forest to reach their village, after attending a temple festival last night.

It was then the elephant appeared before them and tried to attack the family.
