Elephants raided house for food in Southern India.

House riding elephant in madhukarai of Coimbatore district. Yesterday night when the residents of the madhukarai were in deep sleep. They woke up on hearing a noise. The wall of the house has been demolished by the elephant and the baby calf and it's mother were busy eating the rice and grains that was kept in the house. The villagers bursted crackers to chase it to forest along with the help of forest officials. They said this elephant has made it a routine to raid houses for its hunger.

The incident happened on 21 February in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu India.
