Police officials in the western Indian state of Rajasthan say they have seized 45 kilogrammes of ivory worth 10 million rupees ($223,000 dollars).
Seven people were arrested in the Rajasthan capital, Jaipur, in connection with the find.
A police official said the accused had brought the ivory from the north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh to Jaipur.
