Elephant crossing the highway at Lataguri causes the road blocked for several minutes

Lataguri is a small town located in the Jalpaiguri district of Indian state of West Bengal.The village is located outside the Gorumara National Park on National Highway No. 31. Permits for entering Gorumara and Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary are given from Lataguri. The village also contains a "Nature Interpretation Center", which gives information about the flora and fauna of the area. A few roadside restaurants and hotels cater for tourists.
An Elephant causes the road block National highway beside the Gorumara National Park. It is an awesome and fearsome experience for me and my friend to see the Elephant coming at our Car. Hopefully he did not do anything, not even bothered to see us. He just crossed the road and disappears into the woods.
