Wild elephant kills a man to death

An elderly man was trampled to death by a wild elephant here on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Baraju Sahu of Bangurasingh village under Odapada block in Dhenkanal.

According to reports, Sahu was busy in plucking vegetables from the garden and at the same time it seems that the elephant was in search of food.

Later, the jumbo trampled him on the spot. The presence of the wild animal creates panic among the villagers.
