Watch: Elephants enjoy bath at Thekkampatti rejuvenation camp

Elephants from different temple in Tamil Nadu rejuvenated by taking long baths at the annual camp at Thekkampatti in Mettupalayam. Elephants from all over Tamil Nadu join the annual temple elephant rejuvenation camp that started on 14th December and will continue for 48 days. The annual elephant rejuvenation camp will conclude on 30th January, 2019. The annual event at Thekkampatti in Mettupalayam have sheds, cooking area and bathing area for the tuskers. A team of veterinarians is also part of the camp to conduct medical check-ups for the pachyderms and elephants will be treated for existing diseases.
